We do not intend to collect personal data of children or persons under the age of 13 (thirteen) years old.

When you use atomicbot.ai or submit forms, we may collect:

Basic security/anti-abuse data (e.g., IP address, timestamps)

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic identity info necessary to create your account (typically your email and a profile identifier).

2. What we collect (Product)

Depending on how you use Atomic Bot, we may process:

  • Account data (email, sign-in method)
  • Integration tokens (only if you connect integrations)
  • Basic operational logs (to diagnose errors and keep the service stable)
  • Chat history and content

We do not store your chat history on our central systems by default.

In local mode, chat/workspace data stays on your device.

In cloud mode, chat/workspace data is stored in your cloud environment to enable sync across devices.

We collect anonymous usage data to improve our product. This includes events such as application opens, feature usage, and button clicks. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details through our analytics. Your IP address may be processed for geolocation and bot detection purposes. Analytics data is processed by PostHog Inc. and stored on servers in the United States.

3. AI models and providers (OpenRouter and others)

Atomic Bot can use:

  • Models provided through OpenRouter (we may provide default access as part of a plan)
  • Your own API keys
  • Your own self-hosted/local models

When a model provider is used, your prompts/inputs may be processed by that provider to generate outputs. We recommend reviewing the provider’s policies if you use external model routing.

4. Integrations

Atomic Bot may connect to third-party services such as Gmail, Google Workspace, Telegram, Discord, Slack, GitHub, X (Twitter), Notion, Trello, and Obsidian.

Integrations work via tokens/authorizations you grant. You can revoke access at any time from the third-party service settings or inside Atomic Bot (when supported).

5. Where we store data

Local mode: data stays on your device.

Cloud mode: data is stored in your dedicated machine/environment provisioned for you.

Credentials/keys are stored:

  • Locally on your device where possible, and/or
  • In encrypted storage in your cloud environment (if you use cloud mode).

6. Lawful basis for processing

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under the GDPR, including:

Contractual necessity – to provide and operate Atomic Bot, authenticate users, and deliver cloud features you request.

Legitimate interests – to secure our services, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and maintain service quality, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.

Consent – where required (e.g., certain cookies, optional integrations, marketing communications).

Legal obligation – where we must comply with applicable laws or lawful requests from authorities.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

7. How we use your data

We use data to:

  • Provide and run the product
  • Authenticate you
  • Provision and maintain your cloud environment (if enabled)
  • Enable sync across devices (if enabled)
  • Prevent abuse and improve reliability
  • Communicate service-related updates

We do not use your content to train AI models.

8. Data retention

Waitlist emails: stored up to 1 year, then deleted.

Cloud workspace data: retained as long as you maintain an active cloud subscription. If you cancel, your cloud data is deleted within 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.

Operational logs: retained only as long as needed for security, debugging, and compliance (typically 90 days).

9. Sharing and processors

We share data only as needed to operate the service, with providers such as:

  • Hosting/infrastructure (for cloud environments)
  • Email delivery (for account or product emails)
  • Analytics/security (basic anti-abuse and reliability)

We do not sell personal data.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, analytics, and security. Cookies are small data files stored on your device.

Types of cookies we use

  • Essential cookies: Required for the Service to function properly. These include session cookies for authentication and security.

Your data may be processed outside the EEA/UK where our service providers or model providers are located.

When personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as:

  • EU adequacy decisions, or
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

13. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption where appropriate, access controls, and sandboxing features.

No system is perfectly secure — you also play a role by using strong account security and installing only trusted skills/plugins.

14. Children’s privacy

Atomic Bot is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. If changes are material, we will provide notice via the website or email. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance of the changed terms.
